Lean On Me - We Fix Fences

How to Pay for Fence Repair in Canada: E-Transfer, Credit Card, or Cheque

Lean On Me accepts e-transfer, credit card, and cheque for fence post repairs. E-transfer is recommended because credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee; the invoice is sent digitally after the job is complete and can be paid through a self-serve portal at your convenience.

Lean On Me keeps the payment process simple and flexible. You do not pay anything until the job is complete — the technician finishes, photographs the work, and the system generates your invoice automatically. You then pay through a self-serve portal on your own schedule. No cash on-site, no cheque handed to a technician at the door.

H2: E-Transfer (Recommended)

E-transfer is the most common payment method and the one Lean On Me recommends. The payment goes directly to sales@fencepostrepair.com through your bank's online or mobile app.

Benefits of e-transfer: no processing fee — you pay exactly the invoiced amount; fast and familiar — most Canadian banks support Interac e-transfer; secure — processed through Canada's national Interac network; convenient — done from your phone in under two minutes once the invoice arrives.

To pay by e-transfer, log into your bank app, select "Send Money" or "E-Transfer," enter the address above, and include your invoice number in the message field.

H2: Credit Card

Credit card payments are accepted but carry a 3% processing fee added to the total. The fee is applied by the payment processor — not Lean On Me — and is the standard surcharge associated with credit card transaction processing. Credit card payments are made through the self-serve portal linked in your invoice email.

H2: Cheque

Cheques are accepted and should be made payable to "Lean On Me Fence." Cheque delivery arrangements can be confirmed with the booking team.

H2: Payment Timeline

Invoice is sent automatically after the job is marked complete. Standard expectation is payment within 24 hours. If you need a few extra days, simply contact the team and let them know — this is handled without issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pay before the job starts?

No. Payment is due after the job is complete, not before. The technician does not collect payment on-site. Your invoice is generated and sent after the work is done and photographed.

Can I split the invoice between two payment methods?

Contact the team if you need a split payment arrangement — for example, splitting a shared fence job between two neighbours. Split invoicing is standard and supported.

What if I want to pay by cash?

Cash payments are not standard for Lean On Me. The digital invoice and portal system is set up for e-transfer, credit card, and cheque. If you have a specific need, contact the team directly and they can advise on alternatives.
